DELAIN’s renowned orchestral arrangements, highlighted by modern shadings, set new standards and manifest the five-piece on top of the scene.
Delain is a Dutch symphonic metal band formed in 2002 by former Within Temptation keyboardist Martijn Westerholt, intending for the band to be solely a project. Singer Charlotte Wessels was invited to join in 2005.
In February 2021, the members decided to part ways and In June 2021, Westerholt announced that there would be a new lineup involving former and new members.

A Decade of Delain: Live at Paradiso is a video album by Dutch symphonic metal band Delain. It was recorded at the Paradiso in Amsterdam on 10 December 2016 for the band's 10th anniversary.
The live album was released on 27 October 2017.
