After almost 50 years on stage, the legendary Scorpions embarked on a farewell world tour in 2010 that lasted three years. With cameras rolling front and backstage, the band seized the opportunity to weave their entire history into the surrounding mayhem, going right back to their ‘60s roots in Hannover, Germany, where they first dared to dream of becoming the country’s biggest export – next to sauerkraut.
FOREVER AND A DAY – THE CONCERT documents the crowning show of that world tour in Munich’s Olympic Hall in Germany on December 14, 2012: 15,000 people witnessed the Scorpions perform 25 of their greatest songs, which truly represent their lifelong quest, making good on their promise to keep on rocking us like a hurricane!
